A Volunteer Immigration Attorney's Journey

Dan Engel, a proud Evanston resident for the last 40 years, was a partner and trial lawyer in the firm of Peterson and Ross for 19 years. He then went in-house for the next 20 years, most of them as Senior Deputy General Counsel at the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. Throughout his career, and continuing past his 2016 retirement, Dan has done volunteer legal work in various areas, concentrating since 2003 on pro bono immigration work.   Hosted by Robert Krause and Bruce Baumberger.
