2017 Community Service Grant Applications Now Available

Over the past 31 years, the Rotary Club of Evanston Lighthouse has supported and implemented scores of international, vocational, and community projects to advance the cause of humanity. Operating with virtually no overhead, our club has donated more than $50,000 annually to local and international organizations.

Again this year, the Club, through its Community Service Committee will be making at least $15,000 in grants to Evanston area not-for-profits for worthy projects corresponding to this year’s adopted theme:

Strong preference will be given to projects that support literacy and education. Consideration will also be given to programs that support essential needs and skills development for all people.

Organizations may download both the 2017 Application Form and Proposal Guidelines by going to www.evlrc.org/grants No single grant will exceed $3,000, otherwise there are no predetermined number of grants to be made or a minimum size for a grant.

The deadline for submitting the application is March 17th and the awards will be disbursed on May 23rd.  All applicants submitting a proposal will be notified of the Committee’s decision by mid-April.
