Arts Therapy: Creativity Programs that Facilitate Healing
 
The Community Service Committee (CSC) of the Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club (ELRC) announces a Call for Letters of Intent for the 2019 Community Service Grant Process.
 
Each year the CSC accepts Letters of Intent from 501(c)3 organizations, serving Evanston residents, for specific programs in the amount of $1,000 to $3,000.
 
This year, the CSC seeks to fund programs that will provide therapeutic healing through the performing and fine arts.
 
INFORMATION REQUESTED IN LETTER OF INTENT
 
A brief description of your 501(c)3 organization is requested, including the organization’s Mission Statement and its length of existence.
 
In 100 words or less, a description of the project/program for which you are seeking funding. Include the total project/program cost, a demographic description of the project/program service recipients and estimate for the projected number of recipients, a description of the grant’s impact on this project/program, and a brief plan for the sustainability of this project/program past the funding period if the program is to continue.
 
DEADLINES
 
Friday, Feb. 1- Letters of Intent are due to committee chair, Elaine Clemens, at clemens.elaine47@gmail.com.
Friday, Feb. 15- Organizations will be notified as to whether or not they have been accepted into the grant process
 
Between Feb. 15 and March 14, organizations being considered for a grant will be contacted by a committee member for a site visit and interview.
 
Monday, April 1- Organizations will be notified as to whether or not they are awarded a grant and if so, for how much.
 
Grant checks will be sent out by May 1, 2019.
 
There will not be a formal application to fill out. The Letter of Intent should give the basic information needed. All other information needed for the process will be gathered at the sight visit/interview.
