The Light for May 9, 2023
By Vaidehi Ravikumar
President Elect Bryant Wallace started the meeting at 7:30 a.m. for President Kathy Tate-Bradish.
Bryant lead the reading of "Why we are Rotarians" and then read the Land acknowledgment.
Next, Paul Brown shared the Thoughts for the Day in honor of the upcoming Mother’s Day:
- Nothing is lost until your mother can’t find it.
- It’s not easy being a mother. If it were, fathers would do it.
- Life doesn’t come with a manual; it comes with a mother.
- If at first you don’t succeed, try doing it the way mom told you to in the beginning.
Guest
Harold Bauer introduced our visitor from Uganda,
Ojok Okello, Team Leader, Okere City, who shared some of the projects that the Rotary helped them with. Please click this
