30 Aug 2026 Taste of Evanston Aug 30, 2026 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM Our club's annual fundraiser, Taste of Evanston raises money primarily for two non-profit organizations, Connections for the Homeless and Reba Place Development Corp., which focus on housing affordability and homelessness in Evanston. Proceeds also help fund Rotary International’s campaign to eradicate polio, and support the Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club’s humanitarian efforts locally and overseas. This year, Taste of Evanston will be held Sunday, August 30, again on the lakeside lawn of the Charles Gates Dawes House, home of the Evanston History Center. As live music plays, more than forty restaurants, wine shops and breweries will serve “great food for a great cause.” A silent auction and a raffle for exciting prizes will build suspense. And people from all over Chicago and the northern suburbs will reconnect with old friends and make new ones. We hope to see you there!
